What does this year’s theme of Wild Hope and family travel have in common?
Hi! My name is Kiya Thompson and I'm a fellow MomCo mama in Falls Church!
I have a relevant topic to bring to your moms, which coordinates nicely with this year's theme of Wild Hope! While my primary and most important job is caring for my family, I am also a Family Travel Coach. What is that, you may be asking? (A common question). A family travel coach helps set intentions for travel that will allow for transformative and meaningful travel experiences that foster connection and bonding, relieve stress, improve confidence, and so many other amazing, research-proven benefits.
This year's theme of Wild Hope centers around the tenets of Being Open to Receive, Building Endurance, and Living Passionately - all these of which can be specifically facilitated by embracing the challenges and joy of traveling with our children.
I would love the opportunity to speak at one of your MomCo meetups about:
Why we need to travel
Research-proven benefits of traveling with our children
Some how-to's and logistics of planning a family trip
How traveling with our children can point us to Jesus.
As I am relatively new in my endeavor, I do not charge a speaking fee!
Because I value the family unit, understand the many benefits of family travel, and have experienced them myself, I am passionate about helping others bring healing and connection to their families. My goal is to help people strengthen their family relationships by fostering connection over distraction, mental wellness over anguish, and lighting a new fire in place of burnout - all through the restorative power of family and multi-generational travel.
