Dashe (4)

Dashe, our beloved pupper, has unanimously been voted most well-behaved child by the Thompson parents. He is loving and loyal, never gets into trouble, demonstrates consistent obedience, and is the most efficient and effective vacuum cleaner we have ever owned. While still full of energy, he has learned to temper it (mostly) when visitors come over - a welcomed adjustment by all.

Dashe is the best big brother. He loves and protects Noelle and Lucca and is intentionally gentle with them - even when they are pulling his ears, hitting him in the face, laying/crawling on him, or covering his head with blankets. He gives the best kisses, and is met with kisses from Lucca… with an open mouth. It’s both adorable and disgusting.

Dashe is loving our big back yard as it is the perfect size for us to chuck his ball from one side to the other with Justin’s hockey stick. He gets a lot of exercise this way and is fairly quickly worn out. When not playing with his ball, he loves being chased around the back yard by Noelle - who equally loves chasing him. Dashe also loves eating whatever Lucca doesn’t, snuggling up to Mama, snoozing (a lot), and going for walks. As the colder months have arrived, he excels at keeping Mama warm.

We are really enjoying watching Dashe and the kids grow up together. As the kids get older, we see great opportunities for them to bond with Dashe and learn some responsibilities surrounding caring for a pet. We could not have asked for a better pup for our kiddos (and us).
